While I wait for the floors to dry...

Is this font size better for everyone? On my screen the font looks fine, but I have wondered in the past if it is the same for everyone. I remember a blogger friend saying that when she used another person's computer she realized how difficult her font was to read. It had always looked good to me though. But someone said mine was awfully small and hard to read, so I increased the size. Is it better or too big or still too small??

My life has become all about pregnancy and baby stuff. I don't like that it's all I write about now. But I realized this morning that it's seriously all I think about now. I suppose that's understandable though! But it's also a little sad. I had never wanted this blog to consist only of pregnancy and baby posts. I wanted my IF friends to remain comfortable reading it. However, I can't think of anything else to write about these days, as sad as that is. All I think about is pregnancy, labor (when, where, how!?), and then actually having a baby HERE. I feel like I'm going to have him early, so I'm spending even more time thinking about it. It's kind of silly because I could very well go past my due date, but I guess that's how obsession works.

Well our landscaping in the front is hopefully coming to a finish and then we'll be working on the patio. Then I'll have something else to think and write about! For all of you who have continued reading my blog through your IF struggles, thank you for putting up with me.

  1. Girl, I was thinking the same thing about myself, in regards to only blogging about pregnancy. Every now and then I throw something in about the kids or Daniel or whatever but my blog content has definitely changed!

Anyway, the font looks great! I didn't think it was too small before, though, either.

  2. I went through the same thing with blogging. My blog quickly became a pregnancy blog, and now it's really a weight loss blog. At first I felt bad, but then I decided that if I lost people who I considered friends then they werent friends. I write what's going on, and right now it's all about losing the baby weight, and enjoying my son. Don't worry about your blog. I can't wait to see pictures when Evan gets here! :D Plus like I said before, I'm reliving my pregnancy through you. :D

  3. Andrea, I think it's totally understandable that you blog about your pregnancy a lot. It is a HUGE part of your life right now. Reading about your journey right from the start makes people feel involved in a way. Also gives people hope that one day they will be pregnant as well :)

  4. I agree with Becky! :) I don't feel like posting them same thing she said so read her post again but pretend it is from me! :)

Yes, your blog is all about Evan but really after how long you have been trying to have him, I wouldn't expect your blog to be of anything else other than him! What I do love about your blog is that you don't complain about being pregnant. I hate reading blogs of others who just complain, complain, complain...I want a baby so bad and I would take all their symptoms any day and that is the only thing about pregnant blogs that irritate me! So post away...we love hearing about Evan!

  5. It's your blog, it's your life, and you write about what's in it. If people can't handle that, then they need to be mature adults and click the "x" button in the corner. Like WashingAway said, if they are your true friends, they'll stick around. And I totally TOTALLY agree with Jess. I HATE people who do nothing but bitch all the way through their pregnancies, especially after experiencing infertility - which they also bitched about all the way through! (And then they think saying "Oh but I feel so grateful and blessed and yaddayadda to be pregnant, REALLY!" once or twice makes it okay for the other 95% of the time. Eh, no thanks!)

And yes, THANK YOU for increasing the font size! Really appreciate it - it's perfect! :)

  6. I think it's great you're talking about your pregnancy! Evan is a central part of your life now and it's very fitting your blog talks about him. It's exciting to hear your journey.

  7. It has already been said, but I agree you should write whatever's on your heart and is going on in your life. I still read, although I rarely comment on pregnancy posts -- simply because I don't have much to add (for conversation's sake). But of course I still care and consider you a friend! I'm sticking around. :) Can't wait to hear news of Evan's arrival!
