Evan is growing too big for his infant tub. What is the next step? I know they used to have bath rings that you put the baby in for the regular sized tub, but I think I heard those are now dangerous. Evan isn't sitting up unsupported, so he still needs a little more support before he can just sit in the regular tub. The infant tub says it's also a toddler tub, but it is too small for him now!

ReplyDeleteWe used this during that transitional period and found it VERY helpful until he could sit up more on his own!
Sorry! Copy and paste that link for ease.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen sink! Oh come on, a childhood isn't a childhood without one or two pictures of them naked in the kitchen sink!

i put it in the big bath tub. it worked really well. :)
I was going to say kitchen sink, also! Haha :) I'm sure some of those baby gear things are way cooler, though!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, I bought a blow up tub from BRU for like $12 for L when she was that age. She stayed in it until she was about 11 months.

you can check out my last post for pictures but Diego sits in the regular tub I just got a really good bath matt from bed bath and beyond.
ReplyDeleteEh, why buy more stuff when you can use your kitchen sink? Or you can get in the tub with him. When Abigail was a baby and outgrew her tub I would just hold her, even though she couldn't sit by herself. Or I would take showers with her.
ReplyDeleteAhh! There's so many options! That's so funny since I have never seen/heard of any of those before!
ReplyDeleteAnd for those who suggested the kitchen sink, I wish I could do that, but I just can't support him and bathe him at the same time! I mean, I CAN, but it's just too stressful. I'm afraid he'll tip over and hit his head and it's hard to lift him to scrub underneath, etc. lol Plus, in order to bathe him in the sink, it has to be clean, and my sink always has dirty dishes in it!!
